No matter who you are, this community of changemakers, business creators and leaders is driven. As such, you likely have high expectations for yourself.
When I started coaching (and frankly, far before that), I had lofty goals. Performance. Relationships. Financial. I laid out everything I wanted to achieve.
And as I hit those goals, it felt incredible. Right?! You look back and think, Wow, I’m shocked I’m here. I did it!
But then, you raise your expectations. And all of the sudden, you’re staring at even loftier goals than before.
The bar keeps moving higher and higher. And it becomes harder and harder to hit your goals.
Even though just a few moments ago, you were ecstatic to be where you are.
💡 There’s something really unkind about using higher and higher goals as a way to put your Self down, without even acknowledging what you’ve already achieved. A sure way to never hit your goals.
So, take a moment to look back at where you started and relish in how far you’ve come.
What goals have you hit since starting this journey?
