When things go south

It's been a few difficult years for so many of us. With a lot of uncertainty, loss and change. And in times like these, we need some sort of anchor to hold onto.

To be honest, it's also been a particular hard few months for me. And what I've realized is that the anchor I am looking for now is my inner home. A sense of peace, love, and safety that I can always access no matter what is happening outside of me.

This is part of what brought me back to Bogotá, Colombia. I know you can’t really go back home. But being surrounded by my family and the food and the mountains and the familiarity of it all, allows me to reconnect to the feelings of home, and cultivate that within me.

My wish for you is to cultivate your inner home – an anchor within that you can always rely on. No matter what. And when we feel like we've lost access to it, we can do whatever we need to do to get it back.

No business, no team, no relationship can grow without an anchor. We need to feel safe and supported to take risks and move forward. So let's create that within ourselves first, and then extend it outwards into the world. Only then can we truly thrive.

  • What anchors you?

  • How do you cultivate that inner anchor?

  • What helps you reconnect when you feel lost?

I would love to hear from you if you want to share.

P.S. If you're feeling lost and uncertain, know you’re not alone. We’re all navigating rough waters. Reach out to your support system – friends, family, or a professional. And tell them what you need. Talk about your fears, and let them in. We’re all in this together. ❤️🙏🏼✨

If you found this helpful, please share it with others! And if you have any questions or would like to connect, I will love to hear from you.
